Temple Info
|
The temple now more than 100 years old has a Chandraprabhu idol that is 2700 years old and belongs to 4th era (Chaturtha kaal). A 1300 year old Mallinath idol is also miraculous.
When Mughal troops tried to destroy and steal the temple, they when energy-less and could not move. The soil from the excavations has medicinal value and know to cure many diseases.
The temple was renovated in the year 1917 by Seth Lalman Daas. The temple is constantly visited by many Aacharya and Muni.
